If at any time during this week or last, you think I'm being short with you, or just in general seem snippy... I am. It's not you. It's the fact that my F------!!! air conditioner doesn't work and that we are having Texas weather in Maryland, with sea level humidity.

We slept in a hotel last night because it was quite literally a hundred degrees in our apartment last night even at midnight. I feel sick, I feel sticky, I am sorry in advance.

I had just finished cleaning up all my chemicals in lab today and we had about an hour left for calculations when this siren outside started wailing away. Despite living in Texas and having been in close proximity to tornadoes before, I had never heard that sound in an actual emergency and it was oddly elating.

A funnel passed right near the school, maybe over it ( I haven't gotten a clear answer yet ) and we all had to hurry downstairs and take shelter in a hall with no windows. About halfway there all the power went out, and for a minute I thought that we were actually going to be hit, the noise outside was so amazingly loud.

We ended up holing up in a classroom with our prof trying to get us to finish our lab stuff until the power went out again and didn't come back on. XP She couldn't keep us there after that, mwahahaha, and they eventually closed the school.

....I'm going to submit this I guess before we lose power here at home, it's starting up really strongly outside again. XD XD XD Just thought I'd make note of the fun today lolol

OH YEAH and as we were driving home, there were these kids completely covered from head to foot in mud. ...I dunno why but it kinda looked like fun lol XDDD
